Dr. Soto is Board certified in Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine. She received her M.D. degree from the University of California, San Diego in 1994. After her residency in Internal Medicine at Georgetown University, she did her Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine subspecialty at the University of California, San Francisco, where she joined the faculty in 2003. While at UCSF, her academic activities included biomedical research on lung cancer and teaching to medical students and pulmonary fellows. She also saw patients in her pulmonary practice and in the Intensive Care Unit at UCSF’s Comprehensive Cancer Center. In July 2007, she returned full-time to clinical medicine and practiced in Marin county. In January 2009, she opened her own Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine practice in Novato.
